Night Under The Arch

As I mentioned in today's post on my St. Louis Daily Photo Blog, I went to the riverfront Sunday night to photograph the full moon rising over the Mississippi. Got some cool shots of the Arch, too, which is floodlit in the evening. This isn't an HDR, although you could certainly do that with such a range of light levels (next time). The photo is a 13 second exposure at f 5.6 and ISO 400.

les lumières sur l'arche, c'est vraiment magnifique. A quand un livre avec toutes photos sur l'arche ?

the lights on the arch, it's really beautiful. When a book with all photos on the ark?

I am having a hard time believing that's not HDR but I know lawyers never lie.
Gorgeous.

It just makes me cry to look at your settings. If I tried that with my little S5 IS, well, I don't want to talk about it anymore.
I love the whole thing.

This is simply...stunning! May I ask...how many shots did you take of this, at how many different time exposures?

Also, have you ever experimented with double exposures? I'll have to look more....I just stumbled upon your blog here, hope you don't mind me commenting.

This is awesome! The only thing that is in the way though from making this a perfect shot (IMO) is the presence of the trash can that is kind of like a MC Donald's trash can...
